http://www.eastblue.net/picture/manga/pandaman/characollecan.gifLa recherche de Pandaman est un jeu que Oda entretient avec ses lecteurs depuis le volume 5. En effet il s'amuse à disséminer ce personnage un peu partout dans le manga.
Simple délire de l'auteur ou personnage ayant son importance dans le déroulement de l'histoire, le mystère reste entier. Car il faut s'attendre à tout avec Oda.
A partir du volume 20 apparaît un nouveau protagoniste : il s'agit de Tomato Gang.
Tomato Gang poursuit Pandaman car ce dernier a des dettes. On peut l'apercevoir de temps en temps aux côtés de Pandaman.
Les animateurs de la série télé, ainsi que les créateurs des divers jeux vidéo One Piece se sont amusés eux aussi à faire apparaitre le personnage un peu partout.
Comment reconnaître Pandaman ? Il est toujours torse nu, avec un pantalon noir et il est en général dans des positions que l'on remarque assez facilement (et bien sûr il a une tête de panda ...). Il se cache en général dans des scènes de foule.

Il est habillé en noir avec une tête de tomate (nooooon ? siiiii), des lunettes de soleil et il tient une arme. (cf. ci contre) Et on le retrouve dans les mêmes cases que Pandaman.
